As a seasoned personal trainer with over 13 years of experience, I’ve discovered that the most effective and sustainable approach to dieting focuses on understanding both micro and macronutrition. My Story
When I was younger, I struggled with my weight. I had intense sugar cravings, and no matter how healthy my food choices were, I couldn’t maintain a calorie deficit. I would count calories but then spend sleepless nights thinking about food until I eventually gave in and binged.
My weight gain led me to try various methods to control my eating, including renting a flat far from shops, keeping no food at home, and even throwing away my bank cards to prevent online food orders. Beyond weight issues, I faced problems like bad skin, yeast infections, brain fog, poor concentration, and frequent illness. I delved into research on gut health and candida. Despite my efforts to cut out sugar, I found myself bingeing on smoothies, cereal, and sugary yogurts. I tried many probiotics and probiotic foods like kefir but struggled to see results.
Everything changed when I visited Hippocrates Health Institute in Miami. Their fasting program reset my gut bacteria. I lost a little weight during the two weeks, but the major weight loss continued after I left; the weight just seemed to fall off.
After the success at Hippocrates, I then went on to other retreats where I explored Ayurvedic herbs and their role in weight loss.
Now, weight loss is much easier for me. If I start gaining weight, I simply do a herbal gut reset, which curbs my hunger and allows me to follow a healthy diet rich in micro and macronutrients. My improved gut bacteria means I don’t crave sugar, making dieting much more manageable.
After losing weight, my confidence grew. Cutting out sugar and bread transformed my body shape. I aim to share my decade of experience and the knowledge I’ve gained with others who face similar struggles, providing nutrition advice and support through personalized nutrition coaching services.

In addition to focusing on gut health, my approach to nutrition centers on micro and macro nutrition. Based on my 13 years of experience as a personal trainer, I’ve found that this method yields the best results for my clients, including professional athletes and those on their own fitness journey.
Micro and macro nutrition involves understanding the different nutrients your body needs and how they affect hunger and energy levels. For example, I learned through DNA profiling that I need more iron, B12, and vitamin C. Incorporating these nutrients into my diet helped reduce my hunger and boost my energy.
Benefits of an Alkaline Diet
I emphasize the benefits of an alkaline diet, which is thought to decrease disease by altering the body’s pH levels. While I’m not a fan of extreme raw vegan alkaline diets—due to their restrictive nature and lack of essential nutrients—I advocate for including alkaline foods like grains, fruits, and vegetables in your diet.
Alkaline grains, such as amaranth, are packed with nutrients and are environmentally friendly. Amaranth grows in Africa with minimal need for pesticides and is drought-resistant. Legend has it that some of the original Incas who used to eat it as their primary food source lived to around 300 years of age. Incorporating such grains into your diet not only supports a healthier lifestyle but also benefits the environment and local communities.
DNA Allergy Testing and DNAfit Nutrition Profiling
DNA allergy testing can be particularly useful for addressing gut problems. I found that DNA allergy testing helped me identify certain foods causing my stomach issues. Eliminating these foods from my diet led to significant improvements in my well-being. My DNA results matched my actual allergy test results, confirming their accuracy.
